Keyless entry...

Does anyone know if keyless entry was a factory option on the sedans in either US, Europe, or Japan? The power lock control module has alot of empty space inside it which made me curious.

Re: Keyless entry...

nope, power door lock were not an option in our cars. Power windows only in JDM Si & SiR and our EX sedans.

Re: Keyless entry...

I am going to be trying 4D power lock actuators as soon as I find a source for them, I will keep everyone updated.

Re: Keyless entry...

look on ebay for a 4 door kit... it's 40 bucks for the module and 4 actuators (high torque)

Look here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7905051195

power locks, keyless entry, and optional alarm

let me know if you need help finding other stuff cuz i have scoured ebay for all these things repeatedly and will be installing a lot of this stuff in mine as i get some free stuff

Peace Out.

Not entirely true. Power windows were optional in all US and CDN CRX's. Occassionally, you will see one that came with the power window kit installed. It looks just like the switches on the EDM CRX VT's. The option kit was discontinued by Honda in 1995. Part number 08U93-SH4-300

By an Autoloc system. They are easy to install. All of the wires have connectors on them. All you do is mount the actuators and plug all the wires in. The system also has a lock/unlock inputs for a aftermarket keyless/alarm system. I just installed that kit and is was a snap. Total installation time was a little over an hour for the power doors and power trunk kit including wiring to my keyless alarm. You can check out my install at http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/528935/2

Re: Keyless entry...

I got an Audiovox keyless entry system and isntalled it today. Works great, as I already had power locks/windows, I just needed a receiver. Now I just need to get an actuator for the trunk, when I have the cash.

Gotta love my EX...ower everything. Also, Josh (91lxdreamer) has power windows, locks, steering, etc on his '91 LX...just no air conditioning.
