I just found out that my transmission is about to shit the bed so i need to buy a new one. I have a 1997 civic HX 5-speed and i want to know if all d series transmissions will fit my car. I know that the automatic HX uses the CVT transmission, but im not sure if the 5 speed is different. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I have a 97 D series manual transmission that I have no use for with only 35,500 miles on it. I got a swap done to my car and it came with this transmission but I couldnt use it because my car is an automatic. I have axles too if you need them. I have the flywheel and a brand new looking clutch also and also the starter is included. My engine came with so many things I have no use for. Let me know if you're interested, or if anyone is interested. This transmission is in near new condition with NO problems. I even guarantee it

Re: Tranny question
HX?.......Not something I am familiar with......Does the car have the d, b or h series motor?...I am not sure if its h series due to the fact you say HX and I have no knowledge yet of what that is......I too have a tranny from a d series that I dont need.
