how good are minicrafts kits

I just picked up a mb 300sl gull wing for less then 20 bucks. and it is made by minicraft. Just wondering if they are good kits or not. Seems like there is some fit problems but not much.

I have this kit and built it.
Yes there are some fit issues and its a pain in the ass to get the body on the frame. But with a little patience, it goes together.
Theres a full cage frame in this car and even though you can't see any of it after its together, Minicraft gives you all of it.

Cool. Yes there is some good detail in the frame and all. Any ideas for painting the body.

I painted mine Metalic Charcoal with a red and black interior.
I remember the instructions had no painting instructions so i had to go by pictures I found online. Just do a search on yahoo or google for the car and you should find some pics.
The purple tint in the pics below is from the red blinds in the room.
