Color Match ?
Hi
I need your opinion on color match for this car. I bet it's Italian Red, but it look a bit more "chery". Which Tamiya paint would be the closest ? Thanks

Just checking the Tamiya color chart it could be "mica Red" TS 39. In my eyes Italian Red would be too bright for that kind of color!!
Try to check with this color chart: http://www.nimpex.de/shop/images/cat...cryl_spray.jpg

Re: Color Match ?
I used mica red before and it's a metalic red.. Color itselft would be a close match, but metal flake aren't quite close

Quote:
![]() Eric, you could get Italian Red to darken by spraying it over a grey primer base instead. I have done this and it gave a darker shade of the red than when I sprayed the same color over a white primer.
