Rinse the car , soap the top with a wash mitt rinse it off really good and dry it then if you wanna dress it up use a silicone based vinyl shine with a aplicator pad , you may have to apply several times untill the shine is even. This also makes it easier to clean the next time. You could also use detergents on the soft top but if you use elbow grease you shouldnt have to.
