93 Ranger won't start, fuel system problem?
Driving home last night the truck started losing power as I was going up a hill, drove about .5 mile and it cut off. Tried to restart last night and again the next morning and ruck would not start (starter is turning but engine won't turnover).
I'm thinking fuel issue, but not sure? Abut a week ago, I almost ran out of fuel (gauge is broken, I use trip odometer to know when to fillup). The truck has 210,000 miles. Could it the filter or pump? How can check? How hard are these to replace? I have some level mech. skill, not a lot of knowledge on this. Thanks for your help. |

filter or pump are very possible. turn on key while someone listens for fuel pump noise by tank. if it makes noise for a second it works. try filter next. 210,000 miles it could be anything but i would start there. could also be spark(coil, wires, computer)
