Drivers side floor wet when it rains. 95 Taurus gl wagon

95 Taurus Gl wagon. Everytime it rains the drivers side floor gets wet and I can't find where its comeing from, the gasket around the door looks good. Has anyone else had this problem? And how did you correct it?...

Thanks Guys

Could be your windshield or the wiper arm shaft weather seal.

Re: Drivers side floor wet when it rains. 95 Taurus gl wagon

Is it getting wet just sitting in the driveway or is it getting wet while tooling down the avenue? If it's getting wet while driving you may have a rust problem with the floor pan. If it's getting wet just sitting have someone hose it down while you're in the vehicle and watch for the problem area.

Thanks hydrosmith, and sahib. It would get wet just sitting in the rain.

Over the weekend I picked up some black silicone adhesive sealant at Autozone, and this morning I checked the bottom of the windshield where there is a strip of plastic covering the bottom held on by several screws. Well all the screws were loose, and the covering was starting to bow out in a couple of spots, so I tightened the screws, and put a generous strip of adhesive all around the bottom of the windshield.

Hopefully this will be the solution to this problem...

Again thanks....

Robert
