280ZX Speakers Behind seats......
Alright, I'm looking to buy new speakers to replace the stock ones behind my 1983 280ZX seats... and I was hoping somebody could tell me what size they are so I dont get the wrong size.

hey dude
in my 79 280zx the speakers where 4 inches i think, but there is a 5 inch hole in the body, which could probably be expanded reasonably easiy. i replaced mine about a year ago, got some 6 by 9's i mounted them on a custom boot cover i made. Sounds good, but the front speakers are a bitch hey, got some 6's, i had to mount them on the underside of the dash, so they are facing my legs  so the back dominates the front a bit. The stock radio was a joke looked more like an 8 track, had to make a custom bit of dash to mount the head unit, which turned out really well, still sounds ok for a few hundred dollers, and about 10 hours work.

Alright I found out that they are infact 6 inch speakers. They are located RIGHT behind each seat and now I need some new ones.
