I am getting my 420a rebuilt and it is completely out of the vehicle, what are some suggestions for upgrades that i should consider and or available. Any feedback is appreciated.

BTW, the mechanic said he would bore out the motor so that it would be about a 2.2L instead of a 2.0L, is this kind of increase possible and if so how much extra HP will it give me?

knife edge cranck, forged rodes & pistons, new cams,valve springs, p&p the head, or just say fuck wasting all that money and swap a 4G63T 1'st gen so you dont have to worrie bout crank walk

get it bored out forged pistons, rods, crank. lighten the flywheel so it will rev faster. port and polish the head and intake exhaust manifolds. 3 angle valve job. the list is endless
speed is money, how fast do you want to go?

you could get it resleved, cams, bigger valves, valve springs....

best for the buck would be a turbo.. haha. for the money you'd be spending to do half the stuff these people mentioned you could easily turbo it. just save some cash up and have at it. anything will help. Good luck

yhe still needs forged internals to run boost right or is that only if u plan to run high bosst

it should hold if you just run vary little boost, nothing crazy. i've been told 5 psi.
