Angry Car Dies

just got the car back (94 formula/LT1) from shop for new a/c compressor. After I drove it and it sat for a couple of hours, it would not start. It would crank just fine. I checked all elec connections and it still would not start. After an hour of scratching our heads, it started.
Today, it stall right before 2nd gear in the middle of an intersection and would not restart. After pushing it to the side, I jumped in and it fired right up. I have never had a computer or fuel injected car before. it only has 85,00 miles and usually runs great. Could it be the fuel filter? I'm at a loss. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You need to pull the codes when it's failing see what the computer tells you is wrong. The plug's right there in front of you so just carry the neccesary with you.
