TYC Projectors

Ok, I bought a new set of TYC projectors and well they look bad ass, but the illumination really sucks. Is it me or are they that bad. Now, I had before and still have them but need new bulbs, a set of HID Conversioin for the old OEM headlamp housing. I guess the light output is ok if youare comming from OEM but i Had the HID for about 2 years. Why you ask, well i wanted projectors and now some people say that if i put the HID's back in, H1 of course, that it will have the possibility of burning the new housing? Any way i checked out a place called www.Illusion-lighting.com and they say they can retrofit my old ones or even make the TYC even better with a true retrofit with DOT spec HID / xenon projectors as well as 4100k D2S or D2R bulbs for $800 clams. I don't know what to do. I don't have the OEM ones now cause well they had a huge crack for when i guess a rock hit it hell i don't know. But any ways just wanna see what you guys say!!!
