1999 Firebird shakes
I have a 1999 Pontiac Firebird. Recently I took the vehicle to get an oil change. The shop also changed the air filter and did an engine flush. As soon as I drove away the vehicle would shake. Later that day the service engine light started to flash and then went solid. For about a week the light would come on and off and when it was on it would vary between flashing and solid. I took the vehicle back to the shop and the attendant sprayed the mass airflow sensor with a cleaner. The vehicle then went the whole day without the light coming on and drove much better. The next day the light started coming back on the way it was before and the vehicle vibrate and skip. I tried to spray the sensor as well but the engine performance hasn't gotten any better. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong.
Thanks in advance |

Re: 1999 Firebird shakes
What Engine code comes up - Sounds like some sensor /hose might have come loose on the airbox/intake- You should have turned around right away...
