replacing window tint

The tint on my windows are starting to flake and peel. have any of you installed your own window tint before? Is it worth it to do it yourself or to go to a professional to do it? If I can do it myself, I'll probably save about $80.

do yourself a favor and get it done professionally. That way it wont flake and peel again. You wont regret it.

just let the pros do it. They'll have warranty, and you'll don't have to worry about nothing.

Re: replacing window tint

Yeah, it's cheap insurance to get it done at a shop.

Thumbs up GO PRO Re: replacing window tint

Agreed. Go with the pros. You better be careful about the flaking and peeling, if it gets worse it might cost the same amount to get it removed using razor blades as getting it installed in the first place.

Remember to choose a good tint shop, price isn't everything and not all window film is created equal. Here is a TintCenter.com site that has all the car tints on the market. Also has articles about choosing a good tint shop.

Hope this helps.
