engine swap

just bought a 88 grand marqui,blown engine and all.
What i really need to know is will a 5.0 from a lincon slide in to the marqui ,and if not what modifications will have to be made.Also will the power window mechanics be interchangeable.

I need some help here guys and gals,I need this info for monday morning HELP ME PLEASE

Will likely be ok, as long as the motor mounts and bolt pattern for the transmission match up; you might have some issues with the electrical hookups, let's hope FoMoCo had all that standardized.

As far as the window motors, best bet would be to check with dealer's parts window or your local parts guy, to see if the parts are the same; if they are, then you should be good to go. If they're different, then not.

Thanks partner,was hopeing someone would know all the in's and outs of it,and I'm sure they are out there .will gove the parts guy a call se what can be made of it .thanks again
