'62 Bel Air project *PICS*

It was some time ago I did a progress thread, mostly because the projects I show progress of never gets finnished.

But here is my '62 Chevy Bel Air pro touring project. It's going realy well, no major problems. So I should be able to finnish this one.

The interior is done in white with a Tamiya metallic green dash. I have added seat belts, cf decals, a key in the ignition and a Panasonic stereo like the one I have in my car. I'm thinking of scratsh building an amplifier and put in the rear. If I do that it will be a Genesis five channel, just like the one I got in my car.

The engine is the kit block with a fuil injection unit from a Revell '59 Corvette. The engine is painted in five metalizer colors from Model master and Alclad.

The body is painted in Tamiya metallic green and the roff is painted Tamita pure white. I will add one more clear coat and then polish it.

It will get wheels from a Revell '59 Corvette and brakes from XS tuning.

That looks awesome. I can totally see a '62 dumped with some classy deep 18"-20" rims and a beefy engine swap.

Thannks for the comments.

I have finnished the chassis and engine. Now the only thing left is the body left.

I clear coated the body today and will polish it on Monday.

There is still some small details to add, but I hope to have it done untill "Grevens Glue Galore" on July 3rd.

Chains: I used paper. It's a photo printed. I might add some styren rod as the volume control.

More update next week.
