AC light keeps going out...

I have a 2002 Grand Prix GT. I have noticed that the AC light keeps going out, I took it to the dealer and they said it was working fine. (the light didnt go out while it was there)

Also, has anyone experienced a metal on metal squeek in the mid. of the dash. I tryed locating it by removing most dash pieces but after a quick test drive I noticed it was still there. This is a real treat when traveling cross country!

Does anyone know if they fixed the EGR problem on this model?
