bcam in an auto?

I assume you're talking about the B-303 Cam? It really depends on how much you're willing to sacrifice, the other thing is the B-cam is not emmisions legal. You might need a converter also, according to Ford, the B cam is designed to produce power above 4,000 RPM. I'm not a big fan of the 303 cams, in my opinion there are better cams out there, they also don't have much lift. Like I said, it really depends on how much you're willing to sacrifice. Here's one that I think would work well on a daily driver automatic,
http://www.iskycams.com/productdispl...=101&dealer=no I'm thinking of building an engine for my mustang and this cam seems pretty good right now.

Re: bcam in an auto?

The B cam in not really auto friendly, and I would shy away from it. Really you should match your cam to the stall speed of you torque converter for best driven performance.

Re: bcam in an auto?

Look into edelbrock's EFI selection. Their Performer RPM II is very nice and they have a matched hydro roller cam as well as a set of heads dyno tested and matched together.
