Butterfly valve
I'm thinking about putting a butterfly valve on my 1990 Trans Am GTA. My friend has a 1995 Trans am Ram Air with it and it sounds awesome when he opens it up to bypass the mufflers. Does anyone have and suggestions or know of any set backs to doing this?

Only thing(s) you might notice by doing so would be a gain in hp loss in torque, aka slower off line but quicker top end.
