Re: Completed: WRX Wagon

Oooooh, I love subies and that's awesome. I used to have a blue 93 Impreza wagon that I started converting into a WRX clone. I had that same hood purchased and the two wings for the hatch, never finished the car. Sold it and got my 93 Turbo Legacy wagon instead.

Re: Completed: WRX Wagon

uuummmm. now that's smooth. Stunning work!
some of the pics look like the doors don't have the panel lines done, but it's hard to look past that beautifully smooth paint to see something that petty...

Re: Completed: WRX Wagon

Thats a great build. The black rims give it a nice look instead of the usual gold ones

Haa you got good eyes.. but actually they do have panel lines, it's just the photos make them invisible somehow
I myself believe panel line is very very important. i think it'll make or break a good model. Not only do we need it, but it has to be done properly to avoid a "toy" feeling. I'm still experimenting and trying different ways to archieve a realistic looking panel line that is not too thick or too dark. For this project, i mix approx 50% flat black with 50% smoke. Looks pretty good i think but they are not visible on the photos sometime

Sorry about the bad quality of these pics

Keep comments coming guys
