Question Front Bumper Cover Loose

Is it inherent with the GP that the bumper cover loosens over time. Pontiac dealer body shop says that short of replacing it, there's not much that can be done. Thanks in-advance.

Re: Front Bumper Cover Loose

Found that by applying a small amount of expandable foam sealant between the foam bumper cover support and vehicle frame I was able to significantly tighten up the entire front bumper.

Re: Front Bumper Cover Loose

My front bumper is loose too...but that's because there's a crack inside the wheel well on the driver side.

Re: Front Bumper Cover Loose

My driver side wheel well was cracked too--where it attaches to the frame. Fixed it with a piece of angle iron and JB Weld! That stuff works miracles. That helped a great deal but the spray foam really stiffened it up.

Re: Front Bumper Cover Loose

Hey...if you can't fix it with WD-40, Duct tape, or JB Weld, and maybe a little bailing wire...it ain't worth fixing! Lol, I'm just gonna take mine to the body guy that my dad knows, let him fix it...mainly because I don't have the time to do it myself...I work too much.
