Make sure water pump is flowing good, experiment with thermostats, (185, 195, etc) and although I have seen stock radiators work I would get a bigger than stock radiator.

Hello,
Heh, the common SB s-10 problem.
What I finally ended up doing was going to the local boneyard picking up a 3 core radiator (don't remember what vehicle it came out of sorry...just take measuments with you), ended up making my own radiator top bracket then stuffed a dual fan system from a Honda (don't laugh) between the radiator and the grill to force air flow. After that I was even able to remove the fan from the block to give more clearance.
