95 3.3 low? oil pressure

gauge reads about half way cold and one mark below half hot. Mech. gauge test was 65# cold 40# hot at 2500rpm. What should dash gauge read and what are oil pressure specks.

Your oil pressure is great and since you used a mechanical gauge, I would repace the oil sending unit.Good luck

Thanks Yale, I changed sending unit last weekend and gage reads above half at 2500 and a little below half at idle hot
