93 Lumina No start

I have read several posts here about no starts. But mine is a bit different. I am experienceing random no starts and random stalling. Usually after a hot soak. This morning no cold start. This is a first. Every time usually it will fire for less than one second and stall immediately. Eventually it will fire and be OK. I gave up this morning, but it still fires and quits.
It DOES HAVE spark and fuel which is different than most other complaints I read here.
I am thinking low fuel pressure (will measure tonight) not enough to open the poppets or some sensor throwing of timing (will throw a light on it tonight)

Re: 93 Lumina No start

If the EGR valve on your car is vacuum operated, check to see if its getting stuck open.

Re: 93 Lumina No start

I had a similar problem recently which led me to change the throttle position sensor, the idle air control valve and the vacuum canister purge valve. This took care of my problems.
