not very proud of this
I just finished the worst kit of all time.
1987 issued 1982 Pontiac "hot rod series" Firebird (revell) As soon as I opened the box, I knew it wouldn't be pretty. The body was very warped, the fit of most pieces was ridiculous and the decals seamed impervious to Mr. Mark softer..and the ENTIRE kit (except windows/tires) was molded in disgusting orange. I salvaged it but I'm affraid I can't be proud of this job...I feel if anything, bad for wasting my paint and glue on it.

Re: not very proud of this
Well, not that good, but not that bad! To my eyes the main repulsive is the toy-like look the wheels give to the model (but it could be seen on the box that the rear wheels fit to the body was bad!). And maybe just a light wash on the panel lines, side mirrors glued, and a "little" work on the wheels lowering and repositioning would make it... well... lovable!
But I'm sure some of us will love those out-of-the-body wheels! So wild!!!

It doesn't look too bad, and for the wheels give them a light coat of tamiya smoke to make the rims look like metal.

lol, that kit was terrible, Box Art on it is very 80"s, I built the Monogram 1991 Firebird Formula kit (that Kit was modifyed highly in the late 80's)and it went together terribly, the MPC/AMT kit is lightyears ahead of that kit, and they made the best F body kits out there

Re: not very proud of this
Maybe you could try rebuilding it. Different rims another blower and a repaint along with some extra details

thanks for the comments guys. I thought about alot of the ideas you guys put up during and after the build...but I was so disheartened by the whole thing that I just didn't want to put the effort...Just so you guys don't think all my models suck, here's the last one I finished before this one ; )

I already wrote it: I find this civic you made... wonderfull!
Even Master Kunta could be jealous! ![]() For those who didn't already know your skills, now it's done, and everybody can realize how bad this Firebird kit was!
