good night for my lude
well tonight headed up to the local car club because the gf was tired and wanted to sleep. met some of my freinds and headed up round 8:30. got there and was chekin out all the rides 100plus were there tonight. one techademics mr2 was there and wow that was a nice car. bout 9 this guy i kno shows up in his 2000 jetta 1.8t wantin to finally race me, i had asked before and he wouldnt.
so we head off to the local straight away with lines and everything. him with one freind and me with one. our freinds get out and line us up even as his freind drops his hands we both are spinnin. had bout 1/4 car by end of first and then spun second. by the end of 2nd had bout 1/2 car and stayed the same till 100. he comes back to the line sayin how he wanted a rematch i didnt originally want to but then he said my car was an old junker so i had to go again. lined up again. spun a lot less and got a car length by the end of first. this time decided to try and powershift(been practicin) and it worked like a charm. by the end of 3rd had 3 cars and still goin. he gave up and slowed down before i even hit 4th. i went back to car club assumin he would be there but he wasnt there what a surprise! good runs tho. o yea nd tore up a 91 teg ls from a roll. wasnt even a race. good night very good night

Re: good night for my lude
Good race just think if he would have had a Revo, GIAC, Upsolute, or Weterauer chip in that car I think he would have taken you easily. When you chip the 1.8T it gives it atleast 15+ whp and around atleast 20 wtq. Did the guy even know how to drive either.

Re: good night for my lude
Ah the infamous/famous H22a swap. I love th sound of the H22A I have a clip of one with a mugen exhaust and it doesn't have the typical pissed off beehive sound. It's gutteral and deep. The last series of Preludes are my favorite Hondas b/c they look pretty wicked in my opinion. The headlights look like they are constantly on the hunt.
That being said I've a VW VR6 driver myself and have much appriciation and respect for other cars. Yeah ABD just came out with a cold air Intake for the 1.8T that measured a 12whp+ increase. The car had other mods but they also tested other CAI's for their 1.8T and they were a about 5whp less. The 1.8T is a great tuner engine for anyone who wants to try a VW. Re: good night for my lude
niccce kill. ive met plenty of 1.8t jetta owners at locla hotspots who think their shits untouchable. im not a hardcore racer so i never really challenged one myself but maybe somtime soon ill try. a few weeks ago i met a guy with a 1.8t who kept sayin his car runs mid-low 14's stock and with minor bolt-ons can run mid 13's. anyways, just my rant. again, nice kill.

Re: good night for my lude
Good kill.
When I go to the track, its always a good match, me against 1.8T 180 h.p Golfs/Jettas/Seats/Audis They all have the same engine, but I bitch slap em all, cause mostly they cant drive. I have some in video, where I filmed 4 races and I won 3 of them, and the one I lost was because the dude didnt go on green so I waited for him, then he went and I couldnt catch up. The VWs/Audis/Seats 1.8L T engine producing 225 horsepower is pretty fast, cant keep up with those dudes.
