Problem w/locking mechanism...can anyone help?

Somebody broke my driver's door window and shattered the window. A company came out to put in new window and now my door sticks when I try to open it. The automatic locks work fine...it's just when I lift the handle to open the door, it is not smooth. The company says it has nothing to do with them. What should I do?

Try lubricating the striker and door assy. If that doesn't do it, either the door, or the striker, or both will need to be adjusted. It's not too difficult to do. Get a friend to help. Check the door alignment first, then if it looks good, adjust the striker out a very small amount (1mm or so), and that should do it.

Thank you...I will try that.
