int. lights

does anyone know if theres a way, so when i open my doors, just the lights on the floor come on? Instead of the 4 on the roof also? thanks..

well.. i still would want to use the Roof lighst when i needed, but i thought maybe since the lights are hooked up so when the door is open, they come on.. maybe someone knew where or how i could disconnect the roof ones only from that feature.

well you have 2 other options besides pulling the bulbs, You can either wire in a switch to the light so it could be turned on and off when needed, or wire in a new light fixture, from a newer G/a or something that has the on/off switch as well as the regular door mode, But that one may require more rewiring.

It should only require removing 1 wire from an inline wiring connection between the body and headliner harness to get the functionality you are looking for. It will likely be a white wire. You would also lose the potential for turning on your overhead lights using the "dimmer switch" on instrument panel.

You have a 1993, correct?
