94 4.6L engine swap- help!

I killed my engine recently (hydro-locked), and I'm currently purchasing a used low miles 4.6L engine. If i could get some suggestions on material (i.e. how-to guides, step-by-step, and perhaps tips) it would make my world much easier.
I dont have alot of money, and i'm not trying to make a hot-rod, just something reliable and a bit better than what i had. -thank you for your time.
