how to disable...

my car, when ever i put it into reverse/drive it locks both doors, i hate it, how do i get rid of it?

hahaha , but I dont think there's a fuse for the chime, the only fuse is for the power door locks, if u do so.. the power locks are not gonna work....

The only way (aside fom disabling the locks all together) would be to reprogram the computer

This is on a Cavalier? I never knew any of them did that. I know on my wife's Chevy Venture van, you can disable this feature at home, the procedure is in the owners manual for that vehicle.

One nice guy at <a> http://www.v6z24.com </a> found a cable to disable it. Use "search with the keyword something like "auto lock disable".
