Re: FlowMaster on a 4.3V6???
The V6 you want to go with a 40 Series. The shop should know the correct size of pipes to use for your application and whether or not you go with dual out or single out.

somebody told me that if i get dual out then its gonna be a waste of gas since i only have a V6. is that true?? or could i get a dual without any loss of HP or worsen gas mileage???

Re: FlowMaster on a 4.3V6???
The dual out is fine as long as they don't put to large of diameter pipes on. And yes I did notice a decrease in fuel economy but I was only getting 17mpg anyway.
Look into Gibson exhaust, go to Stillen.com and check out the single catback they are cheaper than what I payed for my custom job with a flowmaster. |

Re: FlowMaster on a 4.3V6???
I had the 3" inlet / dual 2.5" outlets on my S-10 with the 4.3 before I got the silverado. It sounded really good, I was totally suprised. At idle and low RPM's it definitely sounded mean. If it was sitting there idling you would think it was a V8, I had more than a few people ask me if I did the engine swap myself.
I would pop the hood and show them the V6 and they would be suprised. Really liked that truck...
