Smile Astro suspension upgrade help needed!!

I am leaving for Maine in two days. I was hoping to improve the stability and handling of my 2002 Astro. I am probably going with Monroe equipment. What should I get??

I am a not an auto expert. I have just read a few blurbs on the internet, mentioning "Load Levelers", "Sensa-trac shocks", "Magnum-steering stabilizer kits"...

Could anyone guide me on what to choose?? I am just looking for a better feeling ride. It is a conversion van, so perhaps the weight is a little heavier than a stock Astro van...

I am noticing a little wear around the sides of my tires already, at 27,000 miles.. Should I get new tires as well???

Please help!!
