misfire

2000 3.8 misfire cyl # 2. i had the lean codes and was wondering if the intake problem would cause the misfire also. just installed dbl plat plugs and costly wires. haven't yet ruled out bad plug or wire but would hope these are not inferior products since expensive and from napa. of course # 2 is the rear bank and dread returning to that labor. I may tackle the intake diy but am also getting the "ping".
