3000gt sl vs 300zx na

Who would win a 3kgt sl or a na 300zx?

What if the 3kgt had intakes, downpipes, cat back exhaust system, pulleys, and short throw shifter???

What if the 300zx had intakes, cat back exhaust system, pulleys, short throw shifter, stage one clutch, ecu, and headers?

if i'm correct they both have the same hp and weight the same. so this is a drivers race. as for your what ifs, no one wants to answer those. every car responds differently to mods

The 3000GT will generally slightly pull stock vs. stock (if equal drivers) because of the FWD drivetrain loss vs. the RWD drivetrain loss (but the 300ZX probably has a slight advantage off the line), and i think the 3000 might have shorter gears too (assuming that both cars are manuals here), but yea its pretty much a driver's race.

I think its a drivers race and who can get out of the hole fastest, it could go either way. But i would tend to say the 300zx would have the advantage of rwd.
