p0340 and p1744 codes pulled today

hello all new here i stoped at autozone today because my check engine light came on the other day.i have a 97 taurus gl 97360 miles on it. 3.0 liter.could any one tell how much it will be to fix it.the p0340 code is a camshaft postion sensor code.the other code is a torque converter clutch system performance code.i have no idea about both of em.thank all for any help

The p0340 code for the camshaft position sensor seems to be a rather common problem in the 1997 Taurus. I currently have the same problem with my 1997. I stopped to Autozne as well, the part is $24.99 Ask for part number SU4101. THis should be the correct sensor. Which engine do you have, this particular ssensor is for the Vulcan engine, I am not sure if it will work on the Duratec or not. Let me know if I can help further.
