mechinal problem/ brakes

today i was driving, i was going about 70mph. And when i tap or hit the brakes. My brakes locked up, and the lights on the dashboard things the engine has stall out but the motor is still running. The battery, checkengine, oil, and brake lights went up. I dunno why. Help me!!
After i turn off and turn on the car, it went back to normal. Can anyone help me why it does that???

usually those lights come on when your key is in the ON position without the engine running. You can kinda stutter and engine and make the lights flash.... check MAF meter, clean Throttle Body, check fuel system and then ignition in that order. Check computer codes if any or take it to a shop with a Snap on scanner where they can hook that up and tell what happened when the car did that if that event is stored in the history
