I usually just run my axel nuts all the way down with a 1/2" drive impact wrench at 200 psi on the compressor. When it's tight the nut should be near or past flush with the end of the axle, make sure you punch it.
As for lug nuts, i never ever ever let anyone use an impact wrench on my lugs. I didn't pay 50 bucks for nice mcguard lockers just for some monkey with an air hose and a gun to tear them up(but i guess that's why my car never sees a garage other than mine). I simply use a 4 way lug wrench and tighten them as tight as i can, never had a problem with loose lugs.

Re: torque specs
i believe the axle nut should be at 135lbs and the typical lug nut is around 80lbs. and don't use a gun for either, use a torque wrench.

Find all torque spec's in the manual - http://www.binghamtonlife.com/manual/2gsm/default.htm or buy one from www.helminc.com
