Unhappy Need New Engine

My timing belt broke on my 98 escort lx 2.0L. I messed up a cylinder and need possible valve job, or new engine which ever is cheepest. Does anyone know where I can get an affordable new engine, or affordable valve job done in souther cali.

It's a non-interferance motor, so a broken timing belt should'nt hurt a thing. Unless you where reving the piss out of it when it broke, that might bend a valve.
Have you tried to throw on a new belt? there only $15-30 dollars.
