True or False ...

you can mount a B16 in a 4th gen civic/CRX using Stock integra mounts.

I have a friend who swears this is true but he owns a 5th gen.

he basicaly called me stupid for buying the HCP mounts.

Re: True or False ...

I know that a B-series is a direct bolt in a 5th gen with the teg mounts, and I was 95% sure that you needed aftermarket mounts for the EF's

Re: True or False ...

Yeah man if that was true I'm sure a lot more people would know about it then just your friend. 5th gens and up can fit b series with regular mounts. Stock b and d series mounts like very much alike, but are different. The B series sit different in our civics.

the SiR Chassis has a different sub frame, thus, the mount points on the chassis itself are in a different location on the SiR model.

the crx i got my b18a from was using all teg mounts, but to use them you gotta move the chassis engine mounts on the car. like i saw the drivers side mount and it was welded like 3" back or somethingn like that
