1990 Nissan 300ZX & 1987 Chevy Celebirty

I recently bought a 1987 Chevorlet Celebirty. And when you turn it on it runs fine for about the first 20 minutes. Then after that it starts to shake if you press the accelerator down to much, and it will stall when u stop. Then I will turn it back on, and it restarts fine. But once i try to shift it to Reverse or Drive it will stall out again. Does anyone know what the problem is?

As far as your Celebrity is concerned, it sounds like a bad EGR valve. When it goes bad your car will stall when it comes to a stop and will start up again later. It is a cheap fix (compared to most) and can be done on your own if you get a manual. Good luck.
