2 quick questions
hello, i drive a 97 2.2l cavy ss, and first was wondering about my stereo. it's aftermarket and since i replaced my rear 6x9s, sometimes at higher volumes the cd player seems to shut itself off then turn back on. any ideas on what could be causing this? first i thought maybe vibrations from the speakers but i don't think it's that bad (i don't have subs but i still get a good kick). maybe a loose connection?
second, it's not that big a problem but it's been bugging me. in the morning dew on my car the last few days, i've noticed an unsettling word on my roof. at first i thought someone was writing it every morning before i left for work, but it happened last night after it rained as well. looking at the car in sunlight shows no scratches shaped like the word, it's only after rain or in the morning dew. is it possibly some sort of oil or grease staying on there? and any suggestions on removing it? thanks. |

Re: 2 quick questions
does your whole deck shut off then go back on?
did you put the deck in yourself ? well it sounds like maybe you have a loose wire ground are postive wire you mite be arking out when you hit a bump are somthing do you have a amp ? are a power wire that runs from the battery to the amp ? as for the second problem It sounds like your right about the grease give it a good wash then wax it see if it is still there ?
