'92 LeSabre A/C-heater controls

I have a 92 LeSabre that when I change from heat, vent defrost, A/C the direction of the air flowing does not change. If I change from heat to A/C, the A/C does come on but it just does not flow out the correct vents in the dash. I believe the door or flap that diverts the air to the different vents is not moving. I am assuming its somehow controlled by vacuum.. or a electrical vacuum operated switch but I cannot find any fuses blown or anything else wrong.

Anyone have any clues??

Thanks

Does your cruise control work? If not you have lost the vacume feed into the car. The vacume feed comes off the back of the intake to a tee by the vacume tank on the firewall. Check for cracked or loose lines.

Jed Rule,

Thanks for the information, you were dead on.... while the cruise control still worked, I looked in the general area and found a vacuum line disconnected from a port on the firewall. It must have came off when I changed out the plug wires a few weeks ago.
