Post system wise?

I've been thinking about puttin a kickass system into my car, but I don't really know what to get or what brand is best! I just put new speakers into my front side panels and rear sides and a new cd player last january.....I need some subs now or an amp or whatever, but need to have and idea of where to put it..? I can't put it in the hatchback, b/c that's where the ttops live! yaknow? lol! Any ideas?

If you have the money go Boston Acoustics. By far the bst subs and componet speakers I have heard ever. Not to sure about their amps though, never messed with one. I run the old school RF power series amps. Here is a link to the sub I use. I only run one because I don't listen to high bass music but, out of all by friends who have "kick ass systems" My one pro-series out handels what they have. One thing that is nice about them as well is that they are made to go in tight enclousures. The 12 inch sub only requires 1cu. ft. of box. Another cool thing about them is from center to speaker completly out is 40MM, they have 40mm of travel!! Sorry for the long post, Im just bored and looking for stuff to do. Here is a link. http://www.bostonacoustics.com/ca_pr...&CategoryID=17

My 2 cents

Andy

Honestly, here's what i'm gonna do shortly, just an idea for you, take it or leave it! Walmart has the 12 inch Sony Explode! 800 watt each for 68 and change and 2 boxes (24 and change each), i'm going to mount those two on the flat apposing part of the trunk and put the amp in the middle, so I still have trunk space, then i'm going to go get a kick ass amp from ebay, where you can't go wrong, and just have a best buy install it. (Best buy is a electronic store around chicago. That or circuit city, something along those lines, cuz best buy will move your system from one car to another if you buy another one for free.) Just a tip from me, Ry.

Re: system wise?

Does the 4th gen f body have the deep trunk well at the back like 3rd gens?? On my car the t-tops sit behind the back seats on top of the gas tank and theres still that big dip at the very back where you can put subs and still put the ttops away.

Yeah, it's the back seats, a flat part, 4 feet by 3 or so, and then the deep trunk, keeping plent of room for the spare on the right, of course.

Re: system wise?

bah who needs a spare i never put mine back in. It just sits in my garage with the fancy co2 can to fill it up. I must say that my car came with a hell of a wrench to take off the lug nuts though. Its like the ones that come with the new gm trucks that ratchet.
