new bushings
I just bought a s14 and the rear subframe bushings are shot, so I'm thinking about just getting a complete bushing kit instead of just putting the spacers or stiffeners or whatever on the problem ones. I have looked around and seen some kits from ~$99.00 to about $350. Some don't really list which specific bushings they have and some seem stupidly overpriced... I was wondering if anyone has done this and has any advice.

There's urethane bushings which are a good upgrade, energy suspension has them and then there's ball bearing bushings, I think SPL has them, but they ride hard, like you will feel a hair on the pavement.

SPL doesnt sell bushings (at least not on their web page). they either sell Collars or some Aluminum Replacement "Bushings" hence the reason you can feel a hair on the road

Well in Super Street...I think they had ball bearing bushings for their project 300ZX, they were SPL and they said that the company also made them for 240s.

it was SCC... you wouldnt use a ball bearing (pillow Ball) bushing on the subframe your thinking of suspension links which the Z32 shares most of with the 240 and Skyline
Try Zilvia.net i know ton of those guys have put subframe spacers /bushings on |

Yeah, you're right it was SCC, but the bushings are these metal things that don't squish at all. www.splparts.com
