engine swap

I have a 95 lumina and it needs a new engine. Do I need to put in the same 3100v6 or how much work would it be to put in a 3800.

Re: engine swap

It's waaay too much work and money to be worth the gains for the 3800 swap. The whole front half will need to be torn apart and replaced just to accomodate the 3800; best bet would be to just grab a 3100 and keep on going. More details can be had by doing a search in the forums; there's been two or three previous questions regarding the engine swap.

Thanks for the info, I think I will just stick with the 3100.
