Re: Fatkins diet

That sums up my feelings on the low-carb craze pretty well.

Re: Fatkins diet

I think everyone (in general) is trying very hard to ignore the fact that EXERCISE and a BALANCED diet are what will help you get into shape. Put the twinkies down, lay off the soda, get your ass off the couch and get out and start moving. How hard is that?

Not that I hate atkins or the other low carb stuff

Re: Fatkins diet

Haha, funny.
And screw the Atkins diet...maybe people will lose weight, but they're still out of shape and unhealthy. Besides, really active people, especially those who exercise a lot would probably kill themselves (quite literally) without the carbs. Is it really harder to lay off the fatty foods than to stop eating more normal stuff like bread? Just a thought ...

Re: Fatkins diet

You can eat almost any food you want as long as you exercise.. People are always looking for some kind of magic pill to sit on their ass and still be beautiful.

You hit the nail on the head with that one.

I had steak and fries with BBQ sauce for lunch today and then went to the gym and nailed hard cardio for an hour and a half.

As for the squirrel, I'm just trying to work out how much speed he was on to record that.

I remember I heard this comedian, say something like this:

"Everyone wants to lose weight, you see all these new diets and exercise machines coming out daily. In my opinion, you should just go out and take hard drugs....Have you ever seen a fat junkie?"

found it funny...
