our own jubilee

i reckoned i just had to point this out..
we are nearing the 10000st post in this forum, something of a jubilee. for the forum first timers, chris, erik, tvrfreak and some others, who began posting here little more than a year ago.
we are just 30 posts, and i thought it was something to commemorate, considering this is the best online place for in-depth mclaren f1 related information.
share your thoughts on forum 332.

This place has been wonderful, and I hope it continues to prosper with info and interest for a long time to come. We've brought together quite a range of people with interest in the F1, and even managed to catch the attention of a few F1 owners. That's really special to me that they'd see the value here and take some time to contribute.

In addition to the ones you listed, lets not forget a few other great people who've made this place what it is. Specifically XOTech's posts were what really caught my attention originally. His early posts made this place more than just a haven for young people who were mesmerized by the F1. Mr Bernoulli has been a very welcome participant in my eyes - often with an interesting perspective on the cars. Stratoraptor and TcarR always questioning things from unique angles. jkbon, always with unique photos that I've never seen before. drewwtms for the photos and info he has provided on Mr Selldorff's F1s, as well as Mr Selldorff himself. There's lots of others who I'm neglecting to mention - people who stumble upon this place and pause to add their own unique pieces of info. It's really a great group of people that make up this place and I'm glad that I get to be a part of it.

Having only recently 'discovered' this place, I too am glad to be a member of the community. A VERY knowledgable and passionate resource about the ultimate hyper-car ever conceived.

Re: our own jubilee

yeah I have to agree...with thorst agreeing..to p25 agreeing that this is a great, and unique place. People actually back up their claims here rather than cursing and swearing over simple opinion clashes.
Especially since the F1 is so rare.. the sc.net forums just don't make the cut.
Never forgetting the time Jomo drove Mr S's LM (so he claims) and the issues resulting.
good times

Wonder who'll get the jubilee post?

-Mike

Re: our own jubilee

Hello all !

I totally agree. Thank you all for your help, photos, infos, enthusiasm and especially peloton25 who drove me here !

If I knew the forum before to see #073, I would ask some percuting questions to, I think, Mansour Ojjeh himself !

I do my best to find infos or photos or details and a new pic will arrive tonight

Ciao
Phil

Re: our own jubilee

This is probably the most educated forum I've ever been to with so much knowledge and quick, informative replies. I hope it stays that way forever!
