Auto Insurance
I've done a few tests already on progressive and I myself cannot afford the insurance so... What I thought is, I would get my parents to put down that it is their own vehicle so my insurance rates wont have me working 24/7 or selling my vehicle. I know there has to be a downside to this, if there is could someone point it out please.

Re: Auto Insurance
my first car was listed as with my dad as primary driver and I was primary on the cheapest thing we had and with some math I paid the difference to my parents. I love my parents

Well I'm just curious if I get into an accident and they ask for my insurance and they eventually find out that it is listed under my dads prim. car, is that the same thing if his spouse was driving the car. Or is it a whole new deal if I am driving it. I dont think it matters but for those of you who know a lot about this please post.

hey pimpin,
it dosen't matter if you are not listed as the primary driver of the car, as long as you ARE listed as a covered or eligible driver on the insurance card. All my vehicles are listed with my mom as the primary driver and me as just an eligible driver. It's soooo much cheaper that way. Definately get your parents to check into it with their insurance provider.
