Torque values for brakes

Hi,

I just recently replaced the front brake pads and rotors on my Wife's 99 Venture.

I needed to remove the calipers and the caliper braket to get the rotors off. My Haynes tells me that the torque settings for the brake caliper braket is 137 Ft lbs. This seems exceesively high. I am wondering if anyone has a difeerent publication that quotes a different torque setting. (This is not the calipers but rather the caliper braket)

The corresponding part on my Windstar was 82 ft. lbs.

I am afraid I may have over tightened it.

Thanks
