Angry 2002 Chevy Blazer

My Rear Hatch Window will not open. I have tried the electronic key, the release button and the back of the rear door. It will still not open. I can hear it engaging but does not open. HELP!!!

Try pushing on the window first and hold it then hit the release, if it still won't open, then essentially the back panel needs to be removed and then you need to manyally hit the release...

Re: 2002 Chevy Blazer

I found on my 2002 blazer you have to actually pull up at the same exact time you are pushing in on the button. It took me a week to figure this out after I bought it!

Re: 2002 Chevy Blazer

Just purchased mine and I do not have to do anything but press the button to get it to open. If you dont hear the switch click when you press the button or any niose at all I would think that its either the fuse feeding it is bad, or the switch itself is bad.

If you do hear something it may just need an adjustment. If there is something to adjust.

Pull on it gently as you hit the release.

Then lube up the assembly once you have it open.
