Re: 1st gear speed
7700 rpm = 35 mph according to some of my datalogs. On some its hard to tell because of wheel spin, but it seems I usually shift out of first at ~35 mph and between 7500 and 8000 rpm. AWD has the lowest gearing of all the DSMs.

Re: 1st gear speed
i have a n/t 4g63 in a GTi galant and its first gear goes up to around 80kph [52 miles] in first gear at redline and got kinda surprised when the gst could just get upto 35 miles.
i thought something was wrong with it fearing it was because of my tranny rebuild just a few weeks ago. ü so i guess autox is out of the question for a gst. coz this dude who's really good in autox said 1st gear is the best advantage for it. and he drives a stock d16 civic hatch doing track time almost close to an evo7. was what he said true or just bs, anyone know this as a fact? |
